Artist Presentation information

April 15th Students will give a presentation of an artist with ephemeral practices.

Student guidelines and requirements for the presentation are after the jump...
~ Length: 10 minutes
~ Make it in PowerPoint, do not include copious amounts of text in the PPT, We want to see pictures/videos! Simplify any text and rely on your knowledge from your research when speaking to the class.
~ Provide bibliographic information on the artist. Explain in what context does the artist present their work?
~ Show visual support material & demonstrated knowledge of size, medium, presentation/instillation
~ Articulate a critical analysis of the artist's work. Be sure to discuss the key points of the artist's practice and ideas. Suggestion: create a bullet-point list you can follow while presenting.
~ Engage class in a follow-up discussion.

Preparation:
Practice your presentation in advance so that you can communicate your ideas in a succinct and effective manner. PowerPoint text and images must be in proper order and should view properly when projected on the screen.
